Mt Field
Todays adventure started with a trip out to the shot tower. This tower was used to make shot by melting the led and dropping it down the centre of the building. I can't remember the height but it was over 500 steps to climb from the bottom to top
Goulds lagoon was a bird sanctuary with lots of birds (funny that) When I was at school we used to be in the gould club.
The Salmon ponds are a aquaculture which specialises in Salmon and trout so of course their main food when eating there was Pancakes?
At Mount Field we did the falls track and then did it again at night to see the glow worms and Bandicoots (plus a lot of possums and pademelons)
