Day 8

Port Arthur

After giving Michelle her presents we headed off to Port Arthur first stopping to look at the Tesselated Pavement which is the result of the action of the salt eating away at the cracks in the rock and giving the impression someone had layed pavers.

After that we went on to yet another Blow Hole and the Tasman Arch both of which were formed from large caves where the roof has colapsed.

We arrived at Port Arthur about 1pm so we went around the Historic site a bit quick. The entry fee included a cruise which takes you out to a small island which is the cemetary.
As we were coming back that night we left and unloaded the car and returned in time for our ghost tour.
This tour was excellent even though we didn't see any ghosts, 2 of the children in the group got scared and had to leave the tour.
Sadly we then went back to our B&B to listen to Manly get beat.
